8th CAWF Conference

Rev. David Doong
Secretary General, Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelization (CCCOWE)

Rev. David Doong currently serves as the Secretary General of the Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelization (CCCOWE). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from National Taiwan University, and earned both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Theology degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary in the United States.

Rev. Doong began his ministry in the U.S. in 2006. In 2018, he returned to Taiwan to serve in pastoral ministry and teach at various theological seminaries. He assumed the role of Secretary General of CCCOWE in 2021. He also hosts the radio interview series Missional Disciples and is the author of Disciples in the 21st Century and Missional Disciples in the 21st Century, as well as the editor of The Marketplace Life of Missional Disciples.

He sees himself as a bridge—connecting the mission of the church with Christians’ daily work, and linking faith practice with the public sphere.

Rev. Arnold Chow
North Point Alliance Church, Lead Pastor

Rev. Arnold Chow was born in Hong Kong and moved to Taiwan with his parents at the age of one for missionary service. His family returned to Hong Kong when he was ten. Adjusting to different education systems helped him recognize his own limitations and experience God’s sufficient grace. He made a sincere commitment to Christ at a primary school graduation camp held at Alliance Bible Seminary and was baptized during his high school years.

In 2000, during a winter camp at North Point Alliance Church, Rev. Chow clearly sensed God’s calling to ministry. After marriage, he and his fellowship group participated in the church planting work in Tseung Kwan O, which became a significant formative experience in his early ministry journey. In 2005, he resigned from his position as a government officer and joined the church’s administrative department as a full-time staff member.

After completing his Master of Divinity at China Graduate School of Theology in 2011, he returned to North Point Alliance Church to serve in pastoral ministry while also promoting church planting initiatives. He was ordained as a pastor in 2017 and became the Senior Pastor in 2020.

Beyond his role at North Point Alliance Church, Rev. Chow currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Alliance Church Union, a board member of Alliance Bible Seminary, and a standing committee member of the Chinese Coordination Centre of World Evangelization (CCCOWE).

Rev. Chow has a strong heart for the younger generation and is gifted in teaching God’s Word. He and his wife have a daughter and a son.
